Biography I started my research journey in 2014 when I became a part of the esteemed CSIR – National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST) in India. For over two years, I dedicated myself to a project focused on developing ceramic materials and substrates for micro-strip patch antenna applications. In 2016, I transitioned into the role of a guest lecturer of Physics at the Department of Physics at Bishop Abraham Memorial College (BAM), an institution affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University in India. During my tenure at BAM, I had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of physics topics to bachelor's and master's students. In 2017 I relocated to the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology (KICET) in South Korea. At KICET, I worked on a project for fabricating ultra-low temperature co-fired ceramic (ULTCC) materials for 5G communication devices. In 2018, I commenced my Ph.D. journey in affiliation with Gyeongsang National University (GNU). The core focus of my doctoral research encompassed the development of scalable methods to fabricate robust superhydrophobic coatings, aiming to enhance their durability. Subsequently, in 2022, I joined the esteemed Department of Materials Engineering and Convergence Technology at GNU as a post-doctoral fellow. Within this role, I engaged in a project to develop sodium beta-alumina solid electrolytes, explicitly targeting their application in sodium-metal halide batteries.
Research Recently, I have had the privilege of joining the University of Sheffield as a postdoctoral research associate. This appointment is in the Next Generation Electrodes (Nextrode) research grant, which is funded by the Faraday Institution. In this new role, my focus lies on conducting research into innovative multiphase particle and powder engineering methodologies, with a specific emphasis on their application in the realm of Li-ion batteries.
